What You Can Earn
You set your own hourly rate — Find A Local takes zero commission. Whether you guide for a few hours a week or make it a full-time venture, what you earn is entirely yours.
Payment is agreed directly between you and the traveller — typically in cash or by bank transfer on the day of the tour. Simple and transparent.
Who Can Become a Local?
You don't need to be a professional tour guide. If you know your city well and love sharing it, you're exactly who we're looking for.

- Are friendly, reliable and enjoy meeting people from around the world
What you'll need:
- A smartphone and access to the Find A Local app or website
- A short bio and at least one profile photo (although we recommend more)
- To pass our verification process (takes 1–3 business days)
