About Saqa
I’m Saqa, a local guide based in Cairo and Giza, which means I have the great privilege of living among some of the most legendary history on earth and acting completely normal about it. I enjoy showing travelers the city beyond the obvious postcard moments—through its streets, stories, architecture, markets, culture, and the little details most people walk past while pretending they’re not lost. My tours are a mix of history, heritage, local legends, street life, photography-worthy spots, and the kind of real atmosphere that makes a place feel alive. Whether it’s a city drive, a cultural walk, a food stop, or a route built around mystery, music, or hidden corners, I like creating experiences that feel personal rather than painfully generic. I’m comfortable guiding solo travelers, couples, families, larger groups, and anyone curious enough to ask one more question than the guidebook can answer. If you want polished facts, local insight, good conversation, and a guide who knows Cairo is far more than just pyramids—though yes, they are showing off—I’d be glad to show you around.
