Raised in the mountainous terrain of Dhading within a humble farming family, his childhood was a daily exercise in climbing hills and trekking long distances to reach school. It was amidst this backdrop that he observed trekking guides from his village leading groups of tourists along the rugged mountain trails, and he found himself yearning to join their ranks. His journey in the tourism industry commenced as a humble Porter Guide, a role that marked the inception of a remarkable odyssey. Over more than a decade, he has achieved more than most dare to dream. Notably, his contributions extend beyond professional triumphs, garnering widespread acclaim for his selfless efforts within his community and society at large. His philanthropic endeavors encompass various initiatives, such as employment programs for retired porters and guides, financial support for schools and orphans, and mentoring and training for aspiring professionals in the tourism industry. His life story is one of unwavering determination, passion, and true grit, capable of inspiring individuals across all walks of life, not just in tourism. With many years devoted to the Adventure and Travel Company, Mr. Prakash Lamsal has accumulated a wealth of experience in various capacities. Following his high school education, he started assisting trekking guides and soon earned a role as a porter guide with the company. His exceptional communication and interpersonal skills rapidly propelled him to prominence as one of the most sought-after guides. Subsequently, he led tour groups on multi-country excursions across Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and India. Participation in mountain climbing expeditions exposed him to the intricacies of expedition logistics and operations. Later, he ascended to the position of Executive Director, overseeing Operations, Sales, and Marketing departments. His extensive tenure in the tourism field has made him an undisputed destination expert. Prakash Lamsal has explored numerous countries worldwide, including the USA, Canada, Australia, Holland, Germany, Austria, and several parts of Asia. His globetrotting experiences have enriched his knowledge, which, in turn, has proven instrumental in planning and executing successful journeys for countless clients.
