About Mong Marma
I’m Mong Marma, a local guide based in Dhaka and Chattogram, here to prove that the best way to understand Bangladesh is to step outside the hotel lobby and let the city do the talking. I speak Bengali and English, which is useful when navigating busy markets, historic streets, river routes, and the occasional glorious bit of chaos that every good journey deserves. My tours are built for travelers who want more than a checklist and a selfie with suspiciously forced enthusiasm. I enjoy sharing the layers of local history, heritage, architecture, street culture, nature, and of course the food—because no one should leave Bangladesh without a proper introduction to its flavors. From old neighborhoods and religious landmarks to countryside escapes and market walks, I like creating experiences that feel personal, flexible, and refreshingly free of boredom. I can also help with custom routes, airport pickup and drop-off, hotel pickup, local transport arrangements, ticket planning, accommodation suggestions, local SIM support, and even photos during the tour. In short, I try to make travel feel easy, memorable, and slightly less dramatic than public transport at rush hour. If you’re curious, open-minded, and ready to see Bangladesh beyond the obvious, we’ll get along very well.
