I’m Gevan, a local guide who believes the best way to understand a place is to walk through it, taste it, photograph it, and occasionally get gloriously sidetracked by something not in the guidebook. Based between Colombo and Kuala Lumpur, I enjoy showing travelers the side of a city that feels alive rather than merely well-posted online. My tours are a mix of city streets, night scenes, nature escapes, village life, markets, street food, wildlife, and the kind of photo-worthy corners people usually pretend they “just happened to find.” I’m equally comfortable guiding solo travelers, senior visitors, and adventure seekers—because good stories don’t really care about age, only curiosity. I speak English, offer walking and transport-based experiences, and can help with hotel pickup or airport transfers when needed. If you’re looking for someone who appreciates great food, local rhythm, hidden details, and a well-timed detour, we’ll probably get along very well. After all, anyone can visit a place. The trick is leaving with better memories than your camera roll can handle.
